Manuel Molina will bring together the finest musicians from around the world to create his 15-piece International Orchestra for Carnaval 2007. From horns and drums to percussion and vocals, each piece creates a vibe that will keep guests dancing for hours from the first BAA ZOOM of the trombones to the last CHA CHING CHU BAM of the high hat!
Carnaval has a deep rooted history of culture and community celebrated around the world. Many people associate Carnaval with masks. The tradition of wearing masks goes back to ancient rituals. One disguised oneself for protection against evil spirits at a time when these spirits were thought to be wandering.
People come from all over the world to attend private and public masked balls, like Carnaval, where music and dancing continues day and night. Theatrical performances and an array of ancient games are organized for everybody.
Carnaval is celebrated in Denver during the month of April; saying good bye to the snow and welcoming the sunny days of Colorado with rhythm, music, dancing, costumes, prizes and much more!
Carnaval is MG Production's most famous event and one of Colorado's biggest Latin dances by far. Carnaval has grown from 500 guests in its inaugural year in 1993 to 4,600 people in 2006. 7,000 people are expected to attend Carnaval 2007! It is guaranteed that all who attended past Carnavals won't miss Carnaval this year. Guests will be sure to bring along more friends to enjoy the festivities!
